Heather Hands, Founder and Director of Weaving Worlds, has worked as a process and systems consultant for retreat centers, hotels, and other (earth focused wellness) businesses in Costa Rica since 2013.  Her work focuses on translating the vision of her clients into reality through streamlined and functioning processes by working directly with the staff to ensure proper training in all areas.  Her specialties include food as medicine, menu development, kitchen design and function, permaculture design and installation for food and medicinal plants, education curation and implementation, and also covers all operational and administrative aspects from budget to labor law.  She has recently shifted from consulting work to applying her strengths in organization and deep Earth connection to focus on her work with Weaving Worlds.  Her 20+ years of active and passive study on building community food systems and a new education model that places Earth reverence at its forefront through indigenous empowerment is how Weaving Worlds was manifested.  Heather currently resides in Costa Rica.
